Wall structure water damage from improper window flashing
Water is one of the main causes of siding or window rot. Without any flashings installed for the sidings and windows, water can easily sink into the material. Also, if you do not have a properly working gutter system, the entire exterior of your home can get badly damaged. If you want to completely protect the exterior of your home to water damage, install flashings and a working gutter system. If you see still spot signs of water damage, check if the flashings and the gutter system are working properly.
